Mi Resumen Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 28, 2026
1. Controller and contact
Fersoft Technologies, LLC, a limited liability company formed in Delaware (file number 10321376), with its address at 1111B S Governors Ave STE 39885, Dover, DE 19904, United States, operates Mi Resumen (miresumen.com). For privacy questions: privacidad@miresumen.com.
2. Data we process
- Account: email address, protected sign-in credentials, verification status and the data needed to sign you in. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, your verified email address and your Google account identifier to authenticate you; Google tokens are used during sign-in and are not kept.
- Resumes: text, work history, education, photos and any other information you add. You may include data about other people, such as references; make sure you have the right to do so.
- Import and assistance: LinkedIn text you provide or paste, the PDF of your previous resume if you import it (it is converted to text to extract the data and is not stored) and the parts of your resume you send for an import or for AI suggestions. Check what you send, because free text may contain sensitive or third-party data.
- Usage and billing: use of features and quotas, plan status, Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, transactions and the data needed to manage invoices. Full card details are entered in Stripe, not in Mi Resumen.
- Technical and measurement data: IP address, browser, pages visited, usage events and security logs, depending on the tools in use and your consent preferences.
- Visits to published websites: we count visits to each published resume as daily totals by country, source (for example, LinkedIn or a direct link) and device type, to show them to its owner. We do not use cookies or store visitors’ IP addresses or identifiers, and we exclude search engines and link previews. We keep these totals for about 13 months.
- Applications: the data you enter in the application tracker (company, position, stage, dates, links and notes). Only you can see it.
3. Purposes and legal bases
We use your data to create and save your resumes, let you export them, manage your account, provide AI assistance and publish a personal website when you choose to (performance of the contract); to process payments, subscriptions and invoices (performance of the contract and legal obligations); to send necessary account and subscription emails (performance of the contract); and to keep the service secure and prevent abuse (legitimate interest, balanced against your rights). Non-essential analytics that use cookies or other tracking technologies are only activated with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time as easily as you gave it.
4. Publishing your personal website
Your resumes start as private drafts. If you publish a personal website, the data and images you have chosen become accessible at a public link on miresumen.com or one of its subdomains. You can unpublish it from the editor. Search engines may index it and other people may save copies while it is public; unpublishing does not delete those external copies.
5. Recipients and service providers
- Cloudflare: infrastructure, storage and, for the features that need it, Workers AI. It receives the information needed to provide the service or generate the requested response. Cloudflare Web Analytics measures visits to the site; this tool is designed to work without analytics cookies.
- Resend: sending the emails required for your account and subscription.
- Stripe: payment processing, invoicing and subscription management; it may also act as an independent controller for some payment data.
- Tawk.to: support chat inside the app. It only loads when you are signed in and receives your name and email address to link the conversation to your account without asking you to fill in a form. It may use cookies or other identifiers to keep the conversation and its history.
- PostHog: product usage analytics. Its configuration may involve cookies, local storage or other identifiers and browsing or usage events. Non-essential analytics features must only be activated after you give your consent.
- Google Analytics (Google tag): measures use of the site to improve the product. It only loads if you accept the analytics category and may set cookies such as _ga and _ga_G-1F1821JXLT, lasting up to two years.
- Google (Sign in with Google): if you choose to continue with Google, it acts as an identity provider and gives us your name, your verified email address and your account identifier. We store the link between that identifier and your Mi Resumen account.
- Google Fonts: if fonts are requested from its servers, Google may receive connection data such as your IP address. If they are served locally, no such request reaches Google.
Some providers or their affiliates may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where the GDPR requires it, we rely on an adequacy decision or valid safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, with any additional measures needed. We do not sell your personal data.
6. Retention
We keep your account and resumes while you use the service. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize that data within a target maximum of 30 days, except data we must keep by law or data that remains temporarily in backups until their deletion cycle runs. Technical and security logs are kept for up to 12 months, unless they are needed to investigate an incident or the law requires otherwise. Email delivery records are kept for up to 30 days. We keep invoices and payment records for the applicable tax and accounting retention periods. Retention periods for analytics data depend on each tool’s configuration and will be shown in the cookie information before it is activated.
7. Cookies and similar technologies
We use technologies that are necessary to sign you in, keep the service secure and provide it. Cloudflare Web Analytics does not need analytics cookies. Google Analytics and, once activated, PostHog and other tags may involve non-essential cookies or other identifiers. In that case, they will not be set or activated until you accept their category; you can reject them and change your choice at any time from the “Cookies” link on the site. The cookie information must identify each technology actually used, its purpose, provider and duration. This policy should not be read as confirming that every tool described here is already in place.
8. Your rights
Write to privacidad@miresumen.com to exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability where applicable, or to withdraw your consent. You can also edit and delete resumes, unpublish websites and download the data of each resume as JSON or CSV from the editor. We may ask for reasonable information to verify your identity. You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (https://www.aepd.es/) or with the competent data protection authority in your country.
9. Minors and security
The service is intended for people aged 16 and over. We apply technical and organizational measures to protect data, including encrypted connections and credential protection. No system is infallible; we will handle and report breaches when the law requires it.
10. Changes
We will post changes on this page and, if they are significant, let you know by email or in the service. The date of the current version appears at the top.
